Gustav Klimt (1862 - 1918) - The Golden Art Nouveau: Gustav Klimt was a prominent member of an innovative group of artists called "Vienna Secession" and is considered to be one of the main pioneers of modern art. Apart from this, his ornamental Jugendstil style evokes an irresistible feeling which is inspired by the 'fin-de-siecle' of 19th century Vienna. Beyond all temporal and spatial bounds his most famous painting "The Kiss" is considered the "Allegory of Love" as such. We celebrate Klimt's memorable style here in our Klimt Art Watch Collection!
